Navy Achievement Medal (NAM), February 1999
Awarded NAM for Exemplary Achievement and Duty during 03/1995-03/1999 while attached to HSL-51 in Atsugi, Japan. While enduring the stress of the Navy's only forward deployed Lamps squadron, he successfully repaired numerous aircraft faults allowing the Squadron to maintain the highest mission completion rate in the Lamps community. Successfully troubleshot and repaired a missile system allowing HSL-51 to launch the very first Hellfire missile from an SH-60B helicopter.

Navy Achievement Medal (NAM), October 1998
Awarded NAM for professionalism beyond the call of duty while deployed in the Persian Gulf during 06/1998-10/1998. Detected a flaw in a weapons system that could've seriously damaged the aircraft or resulted in the loss of life of the aircrew. Expeditiously repaired the system in a minimal amount of time allowing the aircraft and crew to safely meet the mission objectives.
