US Navy Opportunities
Welcome to my NAVY page. Since I am recruiter, I thought I would use this space to make the public aware of the benefits of Military Service.
First, let me tell you about myself. I joined the Navy back in 1990. I came in as a Gunners Mate (Gun Specialist). Immediately after Basic training, I went to Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. I was attached to Assault Craft Unit 1 (ACU-1) & Special Boat Unit 12 (SBU-12).
After 2 years, I changed my job to Aviation Electronics Technician. I transferred to Naval Air Station North Island and was attached to Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 11 (HC-11). I worked there for 6 months on H-46 Helicopters, before transferring to Avionics Technician Class "A" school in Memphis,TN.

Upon completion of "A" school, I transferred to Helicopter Antisubmarine Warfare Squadron 1 (HS-1) in Jacksonville, Fl.
After 1 1/2 years there I transferred to Helicopter Antisubmarine Warfare Squadron Light 51 (HSL-51) in Atsugi, Japan. I enjoyed that Command so much I stayed there for 5 years. I transferred back to the States in March 1999, and have been a recruiter ever since. I will return back to my real job August 2002.

During the last ten years, I've visited over 20 different countries and called 3 of them home. Some of them include Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Okinawa, Guam, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hawaii, Russia, Philippines, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuwait, Bahamas, and Puerto Rico.
That's just off the top of my head.

Naturally, I think the Navy is the best branch of all, but I personally don't care which one you join. We all serve the same ultimate purpose, To Protect our Country and her People.
